Graeme is the CEO of additive manufacturing specialist company, FDM Digital Solutions. He has over 15 years’ experience in additive manufacturing and over 25 years’ experience in full 3D design for end year products and full injection mould designs. He qualified with HNC Mechanical Engineering before working with an injection mould manufacturer from manual production to CNC.
Graeme is an industry specialist in integrated device technology in additive manufacturing and the production of flight approved additive manufacturing end use product solutions.
Graeme co-founded FDM Digital Solutions in 2012. The company started with one machine and two employees. Since then FDM Digital Solutions has grown to be one of the largest additive manufacturers in the UK.
With the largest commercially available FDM (Fused Deposition Modelling) build envelopes and capacity in the UK – and now the UK’s only commercially available HP Multi Jet Fusion (MJF) 3D printer – FDM Digital Solutions offer a wide range of engineering solutions in sectors diverse as aerospace, motorsport and healthcare.
In recent years, they have worked with Airbus on the development of A350 XWB Flight Approved Production Cells, collaborated with Senior Aerospace Bird Bellows and worked with the NHS to develop made-to-measure 3D printed insoles.
Last year, FDM Digital launched their education and consultancy programme, and today are one of the largest additive manufacturers in the UK and were finalists for the TCT Awards in July.
