Emma McLeod

As Research Principal for Process Technology in the Global Chocolate Research and Development team of Mondelēz International based at Bournville in Birmingham, Emma McLeod works on engineering aspects of chocolate & snack production.  She currently leads platforms on modelling, simulation and advanced process control so is heavily involved in leading the research activities linked to Industry 4.0.

Emma graduated with a degree in Chemical Engineering from Birmingham University in 1989 and joined Cadbury on their technical graduate training scheme. Since then she has gained vast experience across engineering, research and development roles. Currently she represent the company on a number of research related organisation including the National Formulation Centre and the Institute of Chemical Engineers.
